Independent judgment
We aim to understand an opportunity on its own merits, asking what the evidence supports and where assumptions remain.
The firm
Ooventive is part of Genellipse Group Holding, bringing together direct investment and capital management to support a considered approach to business ownership and growth.
We are interested in the people and businesses turning a distinct perspective into something useful.
Our focus includes startups, artificial intelligence, data, and opportunities across emerging and established industries. We examine the customer need, the company’s approach, and the conditions that could support lasting value.
Ooventive invests its own capital and manages capital for investors. These approaches share an investment perspective while serving different capital arrangements and objectives.

The person behind the perspective

Different perspectives.
Shared ambition.
We aim to understand an opportunity on its own merits, asking what the evidence supports and where assumptions remain.
The business opportunity and the capital relationship should each have a clear rationale, with expectations discussed openly.
We consider how a business can remain useful to its customers as markets, technology, and competition change.
Our areas of focus guide our attention without limiting every opportunity to an established category.
The group behind Ooventive
Ooventive is part of Genellipse Group Holding and has supported startups since 2009. Abdollah Dehnashi, Founder and Executive Chairman of the group, brings 40 years of experience across finance and technology-related companies.
The relationship gives the Ooventive story a clear starting point: finance and technology belong in the same conversation. Understanding the product is important; understanding how it becomes a durable business is equally important.
Ooventive’s role is expressed through two capital models—investing its own capital and managing capital for investors. The purpose and responsibilities of each relationship are considered alongside the business opportunity.
We look at the customer, the problem, the alternative, and the way the company creates and captures value. An attractive category is a starting point for investigation, not a complete investment case.
We examine how the product works in practice: the data and systems it relies on, the effort required to adopt it, and the capabilities that make it useful to the customer.
We connect the use of capital to the company’s next meaningful milestone and the expectations of the investment relationship. An investor mandate adds its own objectives and boundaries.
