For founders & companies

You see what could be.
Show us what you’re building.

The Ooventive perspective

We are interested in founders who understand a meaningful problem and have a thoughtful approach to solving it. Help us see the customer, the business, and the next step.

Early conviction. Thoughtful capital.

Pre-seed. Seed. Seed+.
Built around your next milestone.

Supporting startups since 2009. We meet the company at its stage of development and connect the capital conversation to what it needs to prove next.

01Pre-seed

Turn an insight into evidence.

For the earliest chapter: a clear customer problem, a founding team with a point of view, and a product hypothesis worth testing.

The next milestone
Validate the problem and a focused first use case.
Evidence to bring
Customer discovery, a prototype, early feedback, and the assumptions still to test.
Where capital can help
Product discovery, initial development, and the capabilities needed to learn quickly.
02Seed

Turn a product into adoption.

For businesses developing a working product and learning how customer interest becomes repeated use and a commercial relationship.

The next milestone
Demonstrate that customers adopt, use, and value the product.
Evidence to bring
Pilot results, usage patterns, customer commitments, and a clear view of delivery costs.
Where capital can help
Product development, first commercial hires, customer onboarding, and a focused route to market.
03Seed+

Turn traction into repeatability.

For the next early-stage chapter: strengthening an emerging business model and building the operating foundations for further growth.

The next milestone
Make acquisition, delivery, and customer retention more repeatable.
Evidence to bring
Customer cohorts, retention, unit economics, pipeline quality, and operating priorities.
Where capital can help
Commercial execution, product depth, key team capabilities, and the systems that support growth.

Stages guide the conversation; they do not replace understanding the business. Investment structure and the scope of support are considered for each opportunity.

Investment criteria

A clear starting point.
A considered fit.

Supporting startups since 2009, with a focus on pre-seed, seed, and seed+. We shape each investment around the company, the next milestone, and the capital relationship.

Stages

Pre-seed, seed & seed+

From validating a customer problem to building adoption and making early traction repeatable.

Focus

Technology with a business purpose

AI, data, enterprise software, digital trust, and industry transformation. We also consider compelling businesses beyond these themes.

Geography

Considered case by case

We assess the market, the team’s operating context, and our ability to contribute. Share where your team and customers are based.

Investment size

Matched to the next milestone

Amount and currency are discussed for each opportunity. Include the capital you are seeking, your use of funds, and what it would help demonstrate.

Ownership

Structured around the relationship

Ownership, governance, and decision rights are discussed individually. There is no fixed ownership percentage presented as a condition of introduction.

Before investment

Support can start with a conversation

Founders can approach us for technology, cloud, or product support before an investment decision. Availability, scope, and commercial terms are agreed separately.

Direct investment uses Ooventive’s own capital. Managed-capital opportunities must also fit the relevant investor mandate. An introduction is the start of a discussion, not a commitment.

Tell us about your company

Beyond the pitch

A useful conversation
starts with the business.

You do not need a perfect narrative. A clear account of what you know, what you have tested, and what remains uncertain is more useful.

Send an introduction
01

The customer

Who experiences the problem? Who pays for the solution? Tell us how the work happens today and why it needs to change.

02

The insight

What have you learned that shapes your approach? Explain what your team understands about the problem, the technology, or the route to market.

03

The evidence

Show what has been demonstrated. Customer feedback, product usage, revenue, or experiments can each be useful—describe the context and limitations.

04

The next milestone

Explain what additional capital would make possible. Connect the use of funds to a specific result, capability, or question the business needs to resolve.

A practical partner for the early days

More behind
your next move.

Capital matters. So do the cloud decisions, product priorities, and business foundations that help a startup get moving. Ooventive brings those conversations together, with support shaped around your company.

Explore founder support

Beyond the funding round

Build the business.
Not just the pitch.

Capital is most useful when the priorities are clear. Our founder conversations bring business, technology, and capital into the same discussion, with the needs of the company shaping the relationship.

How we evaluate an opportunity
01 / Product & technology

Focus the first use case.

Clarify the problem, the product boundary, and what a customer should be able to do better. For AI and data businesses, discuss the integration, quality, and governance required to make that outcome dependable.

02 / Market & execution

Build around real adoption.

Identify the buyer, the path from a first conversation to a deployment, and the work required to retain a customer. Use early evidence to choose what to improve before expanding the plan.

03 / Capital & priorities

Fund the next meaningful step.

Connect team, product, and commercial priorities to a realistic use of funds. Discuss what success would demonstrate, what might take longer, and how the company would adapt.

The journey, made practical

From your first introduction
to the next chapter.

A framework for working together. The sequence, timing, and people involved depend on the company and the agreed scope.

  1. 01
    Introduce

    Tell us where you are.

Share your company, stage, customer problem, and the capital or practical support you need. A concise, non-confidential introduction is enough to begin.

    Your starting point
  2. 02
    Assess

    Find the right fit.

We consider the business, available evidence, and support needs. The discussion establishes whether there is a useful basis for investment, practical support, or further exploration.

    A shared understanding
  3. 03
    Plan

    Agree the next milestone.

Define the priorities, scope of work, responsibilities, and how progress will be assessed. Investment terms and any services engagement are agreed for the specific relationship.

    An agreed direction
  4. 04
    Build

    Put the foundations in place.

Work through the product, cloud, data, or business priorities in the agreed plan. Keep ownership clear and connect the work to the next outcome.

    Progress against the plan
  5. 05
    Launch

    Learn from real use.

Prepare for deployment and customer adoption. Use feedback from actual users and buyers to understand what is working and what needs to change.

    Evidence from the market
  6. 06
    Grow

    Choose the next step.

Review adoption, operating demands, and capital needs. Decide which capabilities and priorities matter most for the next stage of the business.

Your first introduction.
Clear, concise, useful.

The business,
in perspective.

  1. Your company in one sentence
  2. The customer and the problem
  3. Your approach and evidence so far
  4. The people building the business
  5. The next milestone and the use of capital
  6. The conversation you want to have

Before you reach out

A few practical
questions.

Do you only consider AI businesses?

No. AI and data are central areas of interest, alongside enterprise software, digital trust, industry transformation, and broader opportunities with a compelling business rationale.

Which stages do you invest in?

We support pre-seed, seed, and seed+ companies. Pre-seed focuses on validating a problem and product; seed on adoption; and seed+ on making early traction more repeatable. We do not publish fixed investment sizes. Share your current position, capital needs, and the milestone you want to reach.

Should I include confidential material?

Keep the initial introduction non-confidential. A short description of the company, evidence of progress, and the conversation you want to have is enough to establish context.

Can I send an introduction now?

Yes. Send your introduction directly from the contact page, or email info@ooventive.com. Include your stage, support needs, and the next milestone.

Make the first discussion useful

Bring the essentials.
Make the next step clear.

A focused introduction should let someone understand the business before opening a detailed presentation.

01

Describe the business in plain language

Explain who the customer is, what the product does, and the result it is intended to improve. Avoid starting with a list of technologies before the problem is clear.

02

Separate progress from plans

Describe what exists today, what customers have done, and what you are still testing. If you share a metric, include its definition, period, and the context needed to interpret it.

03

Make the use of capital specific

Explain the next milestone, the resources it requires, and what reaching it would demonstrate. Share the assumptions behind the plan and the main uncertainty you want to resolve.
