Working with Ooventive

Clear expectations.
A considered partnership.

Understand how the investment conversation and practical founder support fit together, and what needs to be agreed before work begins.

Two connected conversations

Capital and support.
Explicit arrangements.

You can approach Ooventive about investment, practical support, or both.

An investment discussion considers the company, its stage, the opportunity, and the proposed capital relationship. A support discussion considers the work, the people involved, and the scope needed to move forward.

Support can be discussed before an investment decision. Neither conversation creates a commitment on its own.

Before a commitment

Put the important
details in writing.

These are the topics to resolve for the particular relationship. They are not a published standard package or fee schedule.

Investment terms

Amount, currency, structure, ownership, governance, decision rights, and any relevant investor mandate.

Support scope

The work to be done, example deliverables, responsibilities, dependencies, and how completion will be assessed.

People & availability

Who participates, who owns each decision, and which capabilities or third-party specialists are needed.

Economics

Whether support has separate fees, is included in an agreed arrangement, or involves other consideration. Any equity terms must be explicit.

Accounts, data & ownership

Ownership and control of cloud accounts, source code, intellectual property, data, and third-party licences.

Communication & changes

Points of contact, review cadence, how priorities change, and how the engagement is concluded or extended.

A useful first exchange

Start with enough
to understand the fit.

Send a concise overview of your customer problem, team, product, progress, and next milestone. Explain whether you seek funding, technical support, or both.

Use a non-confidential introduction. If there is a basis for deeper discussion, confidentiality requirements and the appropriate materials can be agreed before sensitive documents are shared.

After submission, the inquiry enters our review process. We contact you if there is a basis to explore further. A review timeline, meeting cadence, or access to a particular person is not automatically promised.
